BBQ Pulled Pork Fries

Here is what you’ll need!

Serves 4-6

8 medium russet potatoes
2 pounds pork shoulder
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
2 cups barbecue sauce
½ red onion, sliced
1 cup shredded pepper jack
½ cup scallions, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar
½ cup sour cream

1. Preheat oven to 425°F
2. Slice the potatoes into ½-inch slices, then cut the slices into ½-inch strips. Place the sliced potatoes on a baking sheet along with the pork shoulder….

  1. Just put the beef (I don't eat pork) and fries in the oven! I'll be sure to update you guys on the taste. I'M SO EXCITED!!! (although the bbq sauce sounds like its bubbling already…)
    So, I'm back from dining. It took about 2h to make in total. The beef was chewy (probably because I love my meat cooked entirely–hence, it's my fault) but the meal was delicious. I'd probably give it an 8/10. It felt like I was eating a burger but forgot to add the buns. I don't regret losing those 2 hours at all. It was a nice experience, and maybe I'll try it again someday (when I have nothing that preoccupies me).
